About Jeff Evenson
Jeff Evenson has been training horses professionally for more than eight years. He has been credited
with coaching numerous Youth and Non-Pro riders to winning championships.
Jeff began his riding career at a very early age in 4-H programs in Central Washington. His first
apprenticeship was training cutting horses. However, it was during his four year apprenticeship with
Tom St. Hilaire that he focused his talents on riding and training Reining horses.
In 2005, Jeff established Evenson Performance Horses.
Jeff is an active member of the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA), the American Quarter Horse
Association (AQHA), the Arabian Reining Horse Association (ARHA) and the Arabian Horse Association (AHA).
He competes regularly in Derbies and Futurities in Oregon, California, Washington and Oklahoma and his active show schedule
takes him and his clients to Arizona, Montana, Texas and Idaho as well.
Producing Reining horses that compete successfully is Jeff's special talent. Whether it's taking your green colt and producing a
money and point earning winner or putting the finishing touch on a broke horse, Jeff can get your horse there. Jeff's training success stems
from a diverse equestrian background and uncanny ability to 'feel' a horse's suppleness and 'mould' its frame. This talent allows him to work
with horses of any discipline.
